Simon Normand, P.Eng. is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in electronic hardware development and engineering management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at MDA Space since November 2021, Simon contributes to the Canadarm3 astrionics and satellite mass-memory unit. Prior to this role, Simon held various positions at Lion Electric, including Engineering Manager, Team Lead, and Product Designer for electronic hardware development from May 2017 to November 2021. Simon co-founded Massachusetts Materials Technologies, LLC, where a senior engineering role was held from May 2016 to May 2017. Earlier experiences include consulting for Volvo Group and various engineering positions at Diversified Technologies, Inc. from January 2007 to September 2014.
