Stephen Yang

Stephen Yang is a highly skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in design and development across multiple industries. Beginning as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Thornhill Research Inc., Stephen honed abilities in drafting engineering drawings and validating designs through testing and vendor communications. Progressing to Magna Powertrain, Stephen served as a Design Engineer, focusing on powertrain components and overseeing the design process to meet customer specifications. Further roles at GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy, including Senior Mechanical Design Engineer and Lead Mechanical Design Engineer, involved leadership in project execution and advanced quality planning. Most recently, Stephen has taken on the role of Mechanical Designer at MDA Space. Stephen holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
