Yankowich

Steven Yankowich is a seasoned professional in defense and mission systems, currently serving as Senior Director for the Canadian Surface Combatant at MDA since June 2021 and also as Senior Director at General Dynamics Mission Systems since September 2018. Previously, Steven held key positions such as Capture Manager for GDMS UK Ltd and Canadian Surface Combatant Capture Manager within GDMS Canada. Steven's extensive experience includes directing significant contracts and business strategies with a focus on cybersecurity, joint C4ISR, and modernization efforts for military infrastructure. Steven has a strong academic background that includes a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Ottawa and a Master's in Defence Studies from the Canadian Forces Command and Staff College, supplemented by degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada.
