Angel Cuevas

Angel Cuevas has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to present. Their most recent position was as a Quality Engineer at MDC Precision since 2018. Prior to that, they worked at NxEdge Inc. as an ME/QE from September 2016 to January 2018, where they focused on improving and facilitating workflows in the Diffuser department. Before that, from March 2015 to September 2016, they were a Manufacturing Engineer II at Flex, responsible for communication with customers and improving tooling and fixture designs. Angel also worked as a Mechanical Engineering Technician at OCZ Storage Solutions - A Toshiba Group Company in early 2015. Angel began their career at UC Merced, where they held various roles including Student Project Designer, Research Assistant, and Student Service Learning Webcasting Assistant. At UC Merced, they completed projects related to grinder construction, solar water heater modeling, and webcasting services. In 2008, they were a Service Learning Team Member at Mountain Crisis Services, where they promoted safety and security on college campuses and contributed to website design and promotion.

Angel Cuevas completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Merced between 2007 and 2012. From 2015 to 2016, they attended San Jose State University, focusing on the field of study of Aerodynamics, although they did not earn a degree during this time.
