Matthew Whitty

Matthew Whitty has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Matthew currently serves as the Director of Commercial Partnerships at MDClone since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at NHS England in various roles, including Director of Innovation, Research & Life Sciences, and Deputy Director. Matthew also held the position of Chief Executive Officer at the Accelerated Access Collaborative. Matthew was the Director of their own consulting firm, Whitty Consulting Limited, from 2014 to 2019. Matthew worked as a Manager at Ernst & Young from 2011 to 2014. Matthew has also worked as an External Advisor for the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). Earlier in their career, they served as a Specialist Pharmacist for Commissioning at NHS Berkshire West and held independent consultant roles in various Pharma & Biotech companies. Matthew started their career as a Pharmacist and Preregistration Pharmacist at Basingstoke and North Hampshire NHS Foundation Trust.

Matthew Whitty's education history includes a Master of Pharmacy degree from Liverpool John Moores University, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. Matthew later pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Portsmouth, completing it from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Law from The College of Law during the period of 2008 to 2010.
