James D. has worked as a Senior Solicitor at MDDUS since 2008, where they are the Joint Head of Legal. In this role, they specialize in GMC and GDC regulatory work, as well as handling clinical negligence claims, inquests, and advisory and disciplinary cases. James runs a caseload of around 60 cases and manages one of four teams in the London office of the in-house Legal Services Department.
Before joining MDDUS, James worked as a Solicitor at Anthony Gold from 2004 to 2008. During their time there, they qualified as a solicitor in March 2006 and managed a caseload of approximately 120 claimant personal injury and clinical negligence cases, with a quarter of them being clinical negligence cases.
James D. began their education at The University of Edinburgh in 1994, where they obtained a 2:1 degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General, in 1998. Following this, they attended De Montfort University from 1998 to 1999 to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Law. James then enrolled in the College of Law, York in 1999 and completed a Legal Practice Course in 2000.
