Josh Edgell has a diverse work experience in the agricultural and environmental field. Josh is currently working as the Chief Agricultural and Environmental Inspector at MDM Corp. Prior to this, they worked at Accent Compliance as an Environmental/Agricultural Inspector, where they monitored compliance during construction projects and led a team of environmental inspectors. Josh has also worked as an Environmental Inspector at Perennial Environmental Services and as an Agricultural Inspector/Soil Specialist at Duraroot Environmental Consulting, LLC. Additionally, they have experience in research and teaching at North Carolina State University, where they served as a Small Grains Extension Associate and a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant. Josh has also worked as a Data Analyst at the Natural Resource Conservation Service and as a Private Contractor at the United States Geological Survey.
Josh Edgell earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Soil Science from North Carolina State University, where they attended from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed an Associates in General Education from Surry Community College, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Soil Science from North Carolina State University, which they completed from 2011 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Josh also holds certifications in 40 Hr HAZWHOPER from the US Department of Labor OSHA and Level II NCDOT Erosion and Sediment Control from NCDOT.
