Ethan Zhu

Ethan Zhu is a current MD candidate at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, where they have taken on multiple leadership roles including Co-Lead of the MSTP Student Admissions Committee and Co-President of the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association. Previously, they served as the Vice President of Community at MD+, focusing on empowering future physician-innovators. Ethan has extensive research experience at institutions such as the UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center and the Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, contributing to several published studies. With a strong foundation in biochemistry from UC San Diego, where they graduated summa cum laude, they continue to pursue interests in medical innovation and healthcare optimization. Additionally, Ethan has cultivated a rich background in community service and entrepreneurship, including founding an online retailer and taking leadership roles in various student organizations.
