Steve J. Stephen has a diverse work experience in various fields. Steve J. started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, where they interned for the Chemistry Department. Steve J. then worked as a Summer R&D Intern at Amaze Health. Steve also served as a Teaching Assistant in Physiology and Biochemistry at the University of Rochester, where they oversaw laboratory sessions and graded assignments.
Steve later joined the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV as a Financial Analyst and Administrative Projects coordinator in the Dean's Office. Steve J. also worked as a Clinical Research Associate at the University of Rochester Center for Health + Technology.
Steve has been involved in clinical research at the Cleveland Clinic as a Visiting Researcher, analyzing patient data and authoring manuscripts for the Professional Athletes Brain Health Study. Steve J. also held a position as a Clinical Researcher at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
In terms of their more recent experiences, Steve worked as a Data & Product Intern at ThalamusGME. Steve J. then became a Vice President of External Relations at MD+, a non-profit organization focused on empowering the next generation of physician-innovators. Lastly, Steve joined DigitalDx Ventures as a Venture Fellow, where they contributed to diagnostic market mapping and startup due diligence in the health technology industry.

From 2013 to 2017, they attended The Meadows School where they obtained their High School Diploma, graduating as the Valedictorian.
From 2017 to 2021, they enrolled in the University of Rochester, participating in the Rochester Early Medical Scholars (REMS) 8-year BS/MD program. Steve J. pursued majors in Biology and Business, with minors in Clinical Psychology and Bioethics.
In 2021, they continued their education at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, pursuing a combined MD/MBA degree. Steve J. is expected to complete this program in 2026.
In the same year, they also attended the University of Rochester - Simon Business School, completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Additionally, in August 2021, they obtained the certification "GCP for Clinical Trials with Drugs and Devices (US FDA-Focus)" from the CITI Program.
