Nick West

Nick West is a highly experienced legal and technology professional serving as Chief Strategy Officer and Partner at Mishcon de Reya LLP since January 2016. West oversees Strategy, Technology, and Data Science at the firm, having also held an interim role as Chief Technology Officer from 2017 to 2019. In addition, West serves as an advisor for multiple legaltech startups, including ayora and Orbital Witness, and holds board positions with Flex Legal and Thirdfort Limited. West is the founder of MDR LAB, Mishcon de Reya's in-house legaltech incubator, and previously held a board member role at MDRx. An advisor for King's College London and the University of Oxford's Faculty of Law, West also has a solid academic background with degrees in Chemistry and Law from the University of Oxford and the College of Law.
