Kristin E. Porter

Kristin E. Porter is a Senior Fellow at MDRC with over 25 years of experience in research, data science, and capacity-building. They have developed and directed partnerships with public and nonprofit social service providers, focusing on harnessing data to improve program outcomes. Currently, they consult, designing and managing data science projects while building capacity for data literacy. Kristin has contributed to strategic planning, empirical methods development, and project management throughout their career, including their significant tenure at MDRC where they guided numerous evaluations of public policy interventions. They hold a PhD in Biostatistics from the University of California, Berkeley.
