Liam Tsao is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in policy-making and advocacy in higher education and environmental issues. Currently serving as a Research Assistant in Postsecondary Education at MDRC, Liam has previously held significant roles including Governing Board Member and Chair at the USC Norman Topping Student Aid Fund and the Roosevelt Network, respectively. Liam has coordinated environmental policy projects across numerous university chapters as West Regional Coordinator and Climate and Energy Justice Policy Coordinator at the Roosevelt Network. Additionally, Liam's experience includes internships with the U.S. House of Representatives, the Wisconsin State Legislature, and the Leonard D. Schaeffer Fellows in Government Service program. An alumnus of the University of Southern California, Liam holds a BA in History & Social Sciences with a minor in Marine Biology.
