Raphael Luna

Raphael Luna has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Raphael began their career as a System Analyst at Caixa Econômica Federal Bank, where they developed mainframe platform systems and supported automated routines. Raphael then worked as a Database Analyst at Espírito Santo Bank, where they specialized in credit data mart creation and ETL development.

Afterwards, Raphael joined BANCO DO BRASIL E MAPFRE INSURANCE GROUP as an IT Coordinator, where they coordinated IT staff, gathered requirements, developed systems, and managed the backlog. Raphael later became an IT Manager at the same company, responsible for IT team management, business plan preparation, and sales support.

Raphael then joined EY as an IT Manager, where they served as an Assistant Director in Tax, Technology and Transformation (TTT), managing IT teams and leading technology innovation fronts.

From 2018 to 2020, Raphael worked as an IT Manager at Itaú Unibanco Bank, overseeing systems development, IT infrastructure and production support, as well as managing IT operations in a distributed environment.

In 2020, Raphael joined BBCE - Balcão Brasileiro de Comercialização de Energia as a Head of IT - CISO, responsible for overseeing a team of 50 professionals and driving development in an agile model. Raphael also served as a Superintendente de TI and ultimately became a Diretor de TI (CIO, CTO) e CISO at the same company.

Currently, Raphael is poised to take on the role of Diretor de TI e CISO at MDS Group, which they would assume in 2023, building upon their extensive experience and expertise in IT management and information security.

Raphael Luna's education history is as follows:

Raphael Luna obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Gestão de Negócios from USP - Universidade de São Paulo in the years 2022 to 2023. Prior to this, they completed a specialization in Innovation from Fundação Dom Cabral in 2016, focusing on Economics and Business Management.

In 2009 to 2010, Raphael pursued a Master's degree in IT Governance from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. Additionally, in 2008, they completed two specialization programs. One in Project Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, and another in Organizational Dynamics, with a focus on Corporate Psychiatry, also from FGV.

Raphael Luna's undergraduate education includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Centro Universitário FMU | FIAM-FAAM, which they completed between 2000 and 2003.

In addition to their formal education, Raphael has obtained several certifications. Raphael earned COBIT 5 certification from ISACA in August 2019, and ITIL 4 certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in the same month and year. In December 2017, they received the Scrum Master Accredited Certification from the International Scrum Institute™. Furthermore, in March 2017, Raphael completed the Gray Belt - Six Sigma for Executives certification with Global Productivity Solutions.

Lastly, Raphael Luna has participated in the Digital Leaders Program offered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), although the month and year of completion are not provided.
