Nishaanth Guna

Nishaanth Guna is an accomplished security consultant with extensive experience in application security and vulnerability assessment. Currently employed at MDSec since December 2021, Nishaanth previously served as Team Lead for the Application Security Practice at Appknox, where responsibilities included conducting internal security audits and overseeing security assessments for various platforms. Prior to that, an assistant professor role at the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore involved developing a capstone project in Cyber Security and teaching application security fundamentals. Nishaanth has also worked as a security analyst at EY, focusing on vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across multiple sectors. Educational credentials include ongoing studies in the Global Study Program for Computer Security at the University of California, Davis, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
