Tim Smyser is an IT Security Analyst at MDVIP since July 2022, with a strong background in IT security gained from previous roles, including IT Security Specialist at Boulder Valley School District and IT Service Desk Technician at Thompson School District. With expertise in incident response, log analysis, email security, and various areas of network security, Tim has demonstrated proficiency in vulnerability analysis, risk assessment, and compliance with governmental regulations. Tim's educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Information Systems Security from the University of Denver and certifications in Networking Basics from Front Range Community College. Additionally, Tim holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from the University of Colorado Boulder and has experience in teaching elementary education.
