Ben White is a climate intelligence and geospatial innovation leader specializing in Earth observation, GIS, AI, and data science. They served as a NASA Earth System Science Fellow from 2005 to 2009 and are currently the Chief Geographer and Program Manager at Rede-Verde Conservation Network, a position they have held since 2009. Currently, they also serve as the Ecosystem Services Technology Officer at the Forest Stewardship Council and Director of Research and Innovation at AfricaASAP. Ben's extensive experience includes roles at Integra Government Services International, the University of Maryland Global Land Cover Facility, and various other organizations focused on environmental strategy and geospatial technology. They are a PhD candidate in Geography at the University of Maryland College Park.
