Tom Schauer

Tom Schauer is a highly experienced professional in the aviation industry, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Mead & Hunt since October 2020. Prior to this role, Tom held the position of Senior Aviation Planner at Kadrmas Lee & Jackson from July 2012 to October 2020, overseeing aviation planning, environmental services, GIS, and wildlife services. Tom's experience includes management of the Bismarck Airports District Office as FAA ADO Manager from February 2011 to July 2012, where responsibilities encompassed oversight of Passenger Facility Charges and the Airport Improvement Program. Additionally, Tom worked at the Federal Aviation Administration from September 1988 to February 2011, initially as a Senior Engineer and Compliance Officer in the Great Lakes Region Airports Division, providing expertise in airport design, safety, and airspace analysis. Tom began a career in aviation after obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree from North Dakota State University, where studies were completed from 1984 to 1988.
