Matt Brown is an early-stage venture capitalist at Matrix, where they have served as a partner since 2021. They co-founded Work4 and Bonsai, the latter of which they led as CEO from 2015 to 2018. In addition to their current roles as Board Director at Rainforest, Meadow, and EarnIn, they also held the position of Head of Product at Afterpay from 2018 to 2020. Matt is currently pursuing a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the University of Oxford, along with studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and Y Combinator.
