As a Program Officer at The Meadows Foundation since August 2024, Mark focuses on program management and strategic development. Previously, Mark served in various key roles at United Way of Metropolitan Dallas from July 2007 to August 2024, including Senior Director of Community Impact Grantmaking, where Mark led the grant funding process overseeing investments of $15-$18 million annually and directed disaster relief efforts amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Mark's early career includes positions at organizations such as North Texas History Center and Bryan's House, with a strong background in education and resource development. Mark holds a Master of Liberal Studies in Global Studies from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from The University of Texas at Austin.

The Meadows Foundation is a private family foundation on a mission to improve the quality and circumstances of life for the people of Texas now and in the future. Over the last 74 years, we have given more than $1.29 billion to support Texans through arts, civic and public affairs, education, health, and human services. We also foster our mission by providing collaborative, rent-free office space in the Wilson Historic District to nonprofits serving Texas.
