Markus Mueller

Markus Mueller is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in emerging markets and portfolio management. Currently serving as Head of Emerging Markets at MEAG since July 2022, Markus previously held the role of Senior Portfolio Manager for Emerging Markets at MEAG from November 2021 to April 2022. Prior to joining MEAG, Markus worked at PIMCO from October 2004 to November 2021, where responsibilities included managing short-term and absolute return accounts, as well as trading local and external debt and derivatives in emerging markets. Markus holds a degree from ESMT Berlin.
