Darius Elder

Darius Elder is a seasoned professional in operations technology and integration, currently serving as VP Operations Technology and VP Operations Integration at Mears Group, Inc. since October 2023. Prior experience includes senior leadership roles at Xcel Energy, where Darius served as Senior Director of Gas Business Operations and Director of Continuous Improvement for Gas Operations from June 2020 to October 2023. Additional roles at Xcel Energy encompass positions such as Director of Continuous Improvement for Distribution Operations, Director of Geospatial and Asset Data, and Manager of Geospatial Technology & Data. Darius has also held leadership positions at Cyient and Tucson Electric Power, as well as technical roles at the Texas Department of Transportation and Demco. Education includes a Master’s degree in Computer Software Engineering from Penn State University.
