John Hill

John Hill, PE, has over three decades of experience in engineering and executive roles within the energy and utility sectors. Significant positions include Manager of Power Services, Director of EHS, and Director of Gas Engineering at Duke Energy Corporation from February 2003 to March 2006. Hill served as Vice President of Gas Engineering at Black Hills Corporation from December 2016 to October 2020 and later held the role of Vice President for Corporate Health & Safety and Natural Gas System Safety at Black Hills Energy from June 2023 to August 2024. Currently, Hill is the Vice President of Engineering at Mears Group, Inc., beginning in August 2024. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky.
