John Often

John Often currently serves as General Superintendent at Mears Group, Inc. since October 2023, focusing on building a world-class team. Prior to this role, John was a Superintendent at Underground Construction Co., Inc., specializing in underground civil work for electrical distribution and transmission projects from July 2016 to December 2021. John's experience also includes positions as Superintendent and Area Superintendent at CSW Contractors, where significant work involved constructing solar fields, as well as responsibilities at NPL Construction Co., where John contributed to the growth of the Civil Division across various project management and estimation functions. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Doublejack and Par Electrical Contractors, where John's contributions supported the growth and development of directional drilling and civil divisions for major powerline clients. John holds a certification in Risk Management and Assessment from Del Webb Construction School and a diploma from Chelmsford High School.
