Matt Donovan

Head of Insurance at MeasureOne

Matt Donovan has worked in a variety of roles in the financial and technology industries since 2005. Matt began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Tax Associate, where they prepared federal and state tax returns for corporations with taxable income in excess of $1 billion and conducted internal control tests as part of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. In 2006, they transferred to the Advisory Department, where they focused on financial modeling and analysis within the utilities industry group. In 2010, they joined American Express as a Senior Manager in the Strategic Partnerships Team for the new American Express digital payment product Serve. Matt conducted strategic analysis of the digital commerce landscape and identified key opportunities for new product features for the Serve platform through partnerships. In 2012, they became a Director of Strategic Partnerships at Yub, Inc., the first offline affiliate network. Matt was responsible for sourcing prospects, negotiating contracts and managing partnerships with national restaurant and retail chains. In 2014, they joined Sinch as a Director of Business Development, where they focused on developing the North American Market and worked with partners such as Mail. In 2015, they co-founded Talage, which is powering digital quoting and binding for commercial insurance. Matt transitioned from a day to day role to a board member/advisor role in July 2022. Most recently, they joined MeasureOne as the Head of Insurance in 2022, where they are working to bring this technology to the insurance industry.

Matt Donovan received a B.A. in Business-Economics and Accounting from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2005. Matt then went on to earn an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management in 2010.
