Julia Meijer is currently the Head of Bioprocess Technology at Meatable, having started in 2025. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Scientist in Upstream Bioprocessing Development and held several roles at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies, including Senior Scientist in Cell and Gene Therapy, where they managed biotechnology professionals and implemented AAV production processes. Julia earned their degree from Wageningen Universiteit en Researchcentrum between 1997 and 2003. Their experience also includes significant contributions to bioprocess development at Crucell Holland B.V. and Solvay Pharmaceuticals.
