Andrew Dittmann

Andrew Dittmann serves as General Manager for Corporate Development and Business Development, as well as General Manager for the Western Region at MEC Mining, where responsibilities include overseeing a multi-disciplinary technical team and driving growth in the western Australian mining sector. Andrew has held various leadership roles within MEC, managing strategy and brand initiatives, and Andrew has contributed significantly to Young Mining Professionals as Co-Chair and Treasurer of the Perth branch. Additionally, Andrew authored the children's book "Mummy is a Miner," promoting diversity in mining careers. With a background in mining engineering and extensive experience at companies like BHP and Orica Mining Services, Andrew combines technical expertise with business development strategies to advance the MEC brand and support the mining community.
