Nicholas Zhang

Nicholas Zhang, Ph.D., is a dedicated Mining Engineer with extensive experience in the mining sector, including roles such as Associate Mining Manager at Serbia Zijin Mining d.o.o. Bor, where they significantly contributed to the development of the Čukaru Peki Copper-Gold Mine. Previously, they held various research and teaching positions at prominent institutions, including China University of Mining and Technology and The University of Queensland, focusing on mining engineering and geotechnical simulation. Nicholas obtained a Doctor's Degree in Mining Engineering and a Joint Ph.D. in Mining/Geotechnical Engineering, showcasing a strong academic foundation to complement their practical expertise in the field.
