Simon Cohn

Simon Cohn serves as the Director of Q2 Metals Corp., a Canadian mineral exploration company, since November 2022. With extensive experience in the mining sector, Simon has been a Non-Executive Director at MEC Mining since May 2007, where guidance is provided to the senior leadership team and strategic direction is set. As Managing Director and Principal Consultant at MEC, significant cultural and operational transitions were achieved. Additionally, Simon is an Executive Director and Co-Founder of MPX, focusing on mineral exploration in Australia, holds director roles in several mining companies including Big Hill Mining Company, and co-founded Ortus Mining Capital, which invests in global mining projects. Simon's advisory roles include serving as a Certified Advisory Board Chair at the Advisory Board Centre and previously with Orefox, with a solid educational background in Mining Engineering from The University of Queensland.
