Mech-Elec Building Services is a UK Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) contractor supporting commercial, industrial and fit-out projects nationwide.

We deliver coordinated building services installations from early design development through to installation, testing and commissioning. Our focus is simple: safe delivery, technical compliance and projects completed on programme.

Our directors began their careers as apprentices before progressing through site supervision, project management and contract management roles with Tier 1 contractors. This background provides a practical understanding of site delivery combined with strong commercial and programme control.

With over 50 years of combined experience in building services, our team has delivered projects across healthcare, education, defense, transport infrastructure, industrial facilities and commercial developments.

Our services include:

• Electrical power distribution and infrastructure
• Commercial and industrial lighting installations and upgrades
• Mechanical and plumbing building services installations
• Heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems
• Electrical testing, inspection and compliance works
• Commercial EV charging infrastructure and electrical capacity upgrades

Health, safety and technical compliance sit at the core of how we operate. Mech-Elec Building Services are NICEIC Approved Contractors, members of the Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA) and CHAS Advanced accredited.

Our operatives regularly work in secure and controlled environments with DBS checked personnel and experience operating within custodial, defense and critical infrastructure facilities.
