Chris Smith

Chris Smith has extensive experience in the investment and biotechnology sectors. Chris is currently a Partner at Brandon Capital and has held various roles at the company since 2012, including Investment Director, Senior Investment Manager, and Investment Manager.

In addition to their role at Brandon Capital, Chris also serves as a Director for several companies in the biotechnology industry, including Denteric Pty Ltd, Paragen Bio, Okogen Inc., MecRx Pty Ltd, Aravax, Ena Therapeutics Pty Ltd, Q-Sera, Solvanix.

Before joining Brandon Capital, Chris worked at CSL as a Business Development Manager and Manager of New Product Opportunities.

Chris Smith completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Melbourne from 1995 to 2005. Chris then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Immunology at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute from 2001 to 2005. In 2007 to 2008, they obtained their MBA degree in Business from the University of Cambridge.
