Andreas Thon

Andreas Thon is the current Head of Software at Mecwins. Andreas has over 10 years of experience in the field of engineering, test & automation, and project management. Previously, they worked as an engineer test & automation for P3 Systems GmbH, where they were responsible for developing and deploying all phases of testing and certification projects for hard discs and optical drives. Andreas has also worked as a senior scientist at Philips Research for over 10 years, where they were responsible for various research projects in the field of electrical engineering.

Andreas Thon obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg. Andreas also completed an Open University Course in Medical Physics and Technology from the University of Kaiserslautern. Furthermore, they hold a Diploma in Physics from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg and a Master of Science in Physics from The University of New Mexico.

Andreas Thon reports to Óscar Ahumada, General Manager. Andreas Thon works with Valerio Pini - Head of Engineering, Virginia Cebrián - Head of Bioscience, and Beatriz González - Director of Finance, Controlling.
