Michelle Jones

Michelle Jones has over 30 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry. Michelle currently holds the position of Vice President, Data Science at Medable, Inc. where they have been working since 2020. Prior to their current role, Michelle worked at Covance for 24 years, starting in 1996 as a Senior Director, Modeling and Forecasting, Clinical Informatics. In this role, they led a global team responsible for mining large volumes of data to gain insights into site performance and patient recruitment. Michelle also applied statistical simulations to forecast timelines and estimate data volume. Michelle began their career at Roche Pharmaceuticals in 1992 as a Senior Statistician and later worked as a Statistician at American Cyanamid from 1989 to 1992.

Michelle Jones completed their MSc in Statistics with Applications in Medicine from the University of Southampton in 1988-1989. Michelle also attended the University of Kent at Canterbury, although specific details regarding their degree and field of study are unavailable.
