Michael Anderson

Michael Anderson CB is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in international development, philanthropy, and public policy. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at MedAccess since December 2017, Michael also holds the position of Non Executive Director at Abt Global. Prior roles include CEO of the Children's Investment Fund Foundation, where dedication to improving children's lives in developing countries was paramount. As Prime Minister's Special Envoy for UN Development Goals, Michael played a significant role in negotiations during the G8 Presidency. Michael's career at the Department for International Development included various senior management roles with a focus on global programmes and aid in the Middle East. Educational background includes a Master's Degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Oxford and an LLM in International and Comparative Law from SOAS University of London.
