Elijah Simpson

Elijah Simpson began their career in 2020 as a Full Stack Engineer Student at Thinkful, focusing on using React and Node.js to create robust applications. In November 2021, they transitioned to Medacist as an Associate Product Manager of all their client facing applications. Elijah was responsible for grooming the Product Backlog and maintaining Epics, making sure work was scoped within issues, defining business requirements, and taking part in client feedback interviews. In January 2022, Elijah became the Lead User Interface Designer for all of their client-facing applications, creating meaningful, intuitive designs with Figma and the design system. In February 2022, they took on the role of Scrum Master, focusing on providing data for their current velocity within sprints, removing blockers for the team, facilitating and leading all meetings and Scrum ceremonies, coaching the organization of the Agile Methodology, providing clear communication on the daily progress of work to multiple departments and leaders, and taking responsibility for making sure the team meets product deadlines.

Elijah Simpson obtained a Certification in Computer Software Engineering from Thinkful in 2021. In February 2023, they also obtained the Product Uplevel Capstone Certification from Product Alliance.
