Derek Lo

Derek Lo is the current CEO of Medallion. Prior to this, they were the Director of Product Management at Hired, Inc. from January 2019 to December 2020. Derek was also the Founder & CEO of Py from January 2017 to December 2019. Py was acquired by Hired in February 2019.

With over 1,000,000 downloads, Py teaches people how to code. Py for Work helps forward-thinking companies assess their engineering candidates. Derek raised capital from top investors such as Y Combinator, Steve Cohen and many more.

Derek Lo graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Statistics.
