Anu Kivelä has a diverse work experience starting in 1995 at Arctia Oy/ Hotel Grand Marina as a Restaurant Manager. Anu then worked as a Marketing and Sales Manager at Jääkenttäsäätiö in 1998. From 2000 to 2007, they served as the Development Manager at Citypress Oy. In 2008, they became a Partner at Medanta Oy. At Medanta Oy - Designed With Care, they held various roles including Sales and Marketing Director from 2009 to 2017, Co-Founder and Marketing Director from 2016 onwards, and currently functions as the CEO since 2017.
Anu Kivelä pursued a degree in Asian Trade and Culture at IBMEC in 1997. In 1995, they started studying for a Master of Hospitality Management and BBA in Organizational Leadership, but the end year for this education is unknown. Anu Kivelä also obtained certifications in Business & Sustainability from the Institute of Sustainability University of Cambridge and Vastuullisuus ja liiketoiminta -koulutusohjelma from Aalto University Executive Education Oy in 2021.
