Wessel Prins

Wessel Prins has a diverse work experience. Wessel started in 2011 as a Public Relations Officer at the Study association GEWIS where they represented the association towards companies interested in Computer Science and Math students. Wessel then worked as a Student Assistant at Eindhoven University of Technology from September 2011 to July 2013. At the university, they also served as a Member of the Department Council W&I from January 2013 to December 2014, Chairman of the University Council Fraction Groep-één from September 2013 to December 2013, and Member of the University Council Fraction Groep-één from January 2013 to August 2013.

In 2013, Wessel started their own company, W. Prins IT, where they worked as an independent contractor, performing coding work for various clients. Their responsibilities ranged from backend PHP development to helping clients define user requirements. Wessel continued working at their company until January 2016.

In January 2016, Wessel joined MedApp Nederland as the Head of Technology. MedApp is an app-based pharmacy that aims to provide support to the six million people in the Netherlands with chronic conditions. Their role involved overseeing the technological aspects of the company.

Later in the same year, they joined Wolfpack NL as a Security Consultant. Wolfpack offers software development solutions and has a team of over 45 developers. Wessel's role focused on providing security consultancy and utilizing their expertise in both technology and business.

Overall, Wessel Prins has gained valuable experience in various roles, including leadership positions, in the fields of technology, consultancy, and academia.

Wessel Prins began their education history at RSG 't Slingerbos from 2002 to 2008, where they completed secondary school. Wessel then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, graduating in 2013. Seeking further specialization, Wessel continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business Information Systems, completing their studies in 2015.
