Heather Keller

Heather Keller has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Heather started their career as a Bank Teller at National City Bank in 1990 and worked there until 1994. Keller then joined New Horizons Computer Learning Centers as a Supervisor from 1996 to 1999. Heather went on to work at Livonia, Detroit, Southfield, and Troy as an Operation Manager from 1999 to 2001. During this time, they managed resource staff and facilitated the consolidation of the Courseware/Shipping Department into the Operation Department. Keller also played a key role in planning open enrollment events, managing custom class requests, and implementing new products.

In 2001, Keller became the Operation/Training Manager at Livonia/Detroit, where they implemented operational processes and managed class schedules. Heather later joined New Horizons Computer Learning Centers as a Director of Continuing Education from 2005 to 2016, where they created operational processes, managed class schedules, and researched and championed the addition of new technologies.

In 2016, Keller transitioned to Henry Ford College as an Apprenticeship Coordinator, where they focused on building relationships with employers and creating a pipeline of qualified technician candidates in various industrial tech programs.

Their most recent role is as the Director of Apprentice Training Programs at MedCerts since 2019. In this position, Keller is responsible for building new paths for individuals to start their next career move.

Overall, Heather Keller has extensive experience in operations management, training coordination, and building relationships with employers in the education and apprenticeship sectors.

Heather Keller attended Siena Heights University from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Their field of study was Fine and Studio Arts and Business Administration Management. Additionally, in February 2013, Heather obtained their Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Six Sigma Digest.
