Johnathan Watkins

Johnathan Watkins is a seasoned leader in the healthcare sector, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Optellum since August 2020, where Johnathan also holds roles as Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President of Market Access and Clinical R&D. Prior to Optellum, Johnathan was the Director of Research and Chair of Trustees at PILAR Research and Education and served as Senior Business Development Manager at Shopee. Their experience at McKinsey & Company included various positions in healthcare analytics, culminating as Product Manager. Johnathan's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Computational Cancer Studies from King's College London, an MRes in Bioinformatics with Systems Biology from Birkbeck, and an MA (Hons) in Pre-clinical Medicine / Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
