Derek Horst

Derek Horst has extensive experience in emergency medical services and team development, currently serving as a Paramedic at HEMSI since March 1991. Derek also holds the position of Clinic Manager at Medcor since May 2004, where responsibilities include managing on-the-job injuries and OSHA required testing at the Target Distribution Center. Additionally, from 2002 to 2021, Derek worked as a Lead Facilitator at Challenge Course, focusing on enhancing teamwork, trust, communication, and various other skills for diverse groups. Derek studied Paramedic Studies at the University of Alabama in Huntsville from 1990 to 1992.
