Billy Callans

Billy Callans has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Billy started their career as a Programmer at DataAid, Inc. in 1990. Billy then moved on to TXEN, Inc. where they served as a Project Leader and Manager of Data Center Operations.

In 1997, Callans joined DST Health Solutions as a Manager of Application Development and later became the Director of Information Systems. During their time at DST, they worked on various high-profile projects and managed large-scale software applications for healthcare payers.

In 2006, Callans joined McKesson as the Director of Engineering and Quality Assurance, where they utilized Agile software development methodology and worked on building epics and validating deliverables. Billy then became the Director of Product Management, responsible for product roadmap development and aligning product management with other departments.

In 2016, Callans joined Medecision, initially as the Vice President of Market Development, where they utilized target market analysis to drive leads into the sales cycle and implemented sales engagement methodologies. Billy later assumed the role of Vice President, Customer Success Manager, leading customer success initiatives.

Throughout their career, Callans has demonstrated expertise in sales operations, product management, project management, and software development.

Billy Callans obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Science, Mathematics, and Business from Troy University, where they studied from 1985 to 1990. In addition to their degree, they have also earned several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include: Advanced Customer Success Manager Certified Professional, Customer Success Leader Certified Professional, Customer Success Manager Certified Professional, Agile Foundations, Scrum: The Basics, Miller Heiman Strategic Selling - Large Account Management Process, and Miller Heiman Strategic for Complex Sales. The certifications were obtained from various institutions such as Gainsight, LinkedIn, and MHI, with the most recent being in February 2022.
