Medens was founded by a team of professionals in response to their own personal frustrations in obtaining quality health care services and information for their own families. They found that the elements of human error, lack of patient control of results, inefficiency in transfer of information, and high cost of time and resources all stand in the way of progress. It is unimaginable to think that consumers can get better information about their bank account or their travel plans than the condition of their baby’s health.  Results could be achieved faster with the proper transfer, analysis, and storage of information. Medens envisions a future in which patients can improve the quality of their health care experience through receiving more complete access and control over their own medical records. It also believes that this experience can be achieved putting our resources in direct care and not wasting them in administrative costs that yield little to the quality of the service rendered.
