Josh Chang

Josh Chang has a long and varied work experience. In 2019, they were a Co-Founder at Sound Prediction Inc, a Director at Mederrata Research, and a Biostatistician Contractor for the NIH at Fedpoint Systems LLC. In 2023, they became a Scientist Contractor at the National Institutes of Health. In 2016, they were an Instructor at the Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences (FAES). In 2018, they were a Data Scientist at Boost Labs. In 2012, they were an NSF Postdoctoral Fellow at the Mathematical Biosciences Institute. In 2007, they were a Graduate Student Researcher and a Staff Research Associate in the Department of Neurology at UCLA. Finally, in 2005, they were a Programmer/Analyst at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute.

Josh Chang has a long history of education. Josh received their High School Diploma from Gretchen Whitney High School. Josh then went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles. Josh followed this up with a Master's degree in Statistics from the same institution. Finally, Josh Chang obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles. In addition, they have recently obtained a Data Science Team Lead (DSTL) Certificate from the Data Science Process Alliance in December 2021.
