John Dayton

Dr. Dayton is an emergency physician, entrepreneur, and educator. He is an Adjunct Professor with the University of Utah’s School of Medicine, where he trains residents, medical students, and physician assistant students. John co-founded Utah’s Chapter of the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs (SoPE) to connect physicians with patent attorneys, business development experts, engineers, and other healthcare innovators and stakeholders. He also recently served as the President for the Utah Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP). Dr. Dayton founded MedForums.com with a goal of improving healthcare by helping his colleagues find the best medical education resources, including Continuing Medical Education (CME) courses, Board Preparation materials, and Free Online Access Medication Education (#FOAMed) including podcasts, blogs, and applications.
