We have started MedHive to accelerate Medical Device R&D, saving precious lives in the process. MedHive is a Knowledge Hive that enables collaborations and knowledge sharing between communities of knowledge workers.

We create a unified view of knowledge currently fragmented across multiple QMS, PLM, Autocad, and ERP Systems. Knowledge is gathered across all the phases of the device lifecycle - Incubation, Develop, Launch, and Sustain.
Past Knowledge related to Predicate Devices and current knowledge (including unstructured, ill-defined, and ambiguous knowledge of multiple failed concepts) is leveraged using AI to generate insights and knowledge;  and make design recommendations for the present and the future. This is estimated to speed up the time to market by around 40% and reduce overall costs by about 40-50%.

MedHive is the first AI-powered knowledge management platform built exclusively for Medical Device R&D. We implement novel neuro-symbolic AI approaches that combine a Medical Devices Specific "Small" Language model with a domain-specific knowledge graph. This minimizes hallucination and enables the creation of contextual knowledge sub-graphs at the point of research & development. 

We address multiple needs across the lifecycle by the creation of draft regulatory documents, component specifications, and patents - even before a user initiates work on them. Our product is based on the real-world experiences of our team who have brought 100+ medical devices to market. The system enables product engineers/managers, heads of R&D, program managers, and others perform at an enhanced level of expertise.
