Founded in 2024 to advocate for the future of our industry, Media for Texas helped drive a historic milestone: the passage of a 2025 media production bill that unlocked $1.5 billion in funding, bringing jobs, productions, and business back to Texas.

Now we’re focused on what comes next:
Media for Texas is building the workforce, community, and infrastructure needed to support a thriving statewide entertainment ecosystem. Through strategic initiatives and partnerships, we connect producers, professionals, veterans, students, and businesses with the resources they need to succeed in the Texas media industry.
