Melon Radebe is a seasoned content producer with extensive experience in digital media and journalism. Currently serving Media24 (Pty) Ltd since March 2021, Melon has undertaken roles as a Content Producer and Special Projects Freelancer, focusing on article production and archival content updates for the YOU/Drum education portal. Previous experience includes digital content production, where Melon generated engaging ideas for web and print stories, conducted SEO-friendly research, and collaborated with various media professionals. Before Media24, Melon worked at Ornico as a Print Monitor, managing client communications and monitoring publications, and gained foundational skills as a News Intern at Bush Radio. Melon's early involvement in the communications team for the Independent Electoral Commission of South Africa during the 2014 elections further solidified media monitoring and engagement capabilities. Holding a National Diploma in Journalism from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and a certificate in Investigative Journalism from the UNESCO/SIDA Project, Melon possesses a strong academic background to complement practical expertise in the field.
