John Riley has a long and varied work experience. John began their career in 2001 as Director of Sales and Operations for Madison Capital Corp, where they managed all operations for the company and was responsible for providing hardware and software support, overseeing accounts, developing and implementing sales and marketing initiatives, maintaining equipment, hiring and training staff, and forming relationships with new and potential distributors. In 2003, they became a Consultant for Zingo Sales Inc., where they handled sales, sourcing, installation, and maintenance of computer hardware and software for placement in commercial networked Class II gaming markets. In 2007, they became the Owner of Krux. In 2009, they held the role of Chairman of the Planning Commission for the City of Los Alamitos, and also served as Project Manager and Sales and Management Team for Sharper Home. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as an Independent Contractor/Consultant/Programmer, and then as Audio Video Infrastructure Architect for PCMall Services/PCM Services. In 2014, they joined Agile360, a Division of Entisys Solutions, Inc., as Director of Quality, and in 2016 they joined MediaCentric as Executive Vice President, Director of Technical Services, and Installation Manager.

John Riley attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering.
