Chuck Chen

Chuck Chen is a seasoned professional in the semiconductor industry with extensive experience at MediaTek, where tenure began in November 2008. Currently serving as Deputy Director, responsibilities include leading the development of low-power technologies for smartphone CPUs, GPUs, and NPUs, as well as defining processor low-power architecture. Previous roles at MediaTek include Senior Department Manager and Sr. Member of Technical Staff, focusing on CPU design and contributing to high-performance low-power projects such as Helio X30. Early in the career, Chuck held positions as Senior Engineer and Engineer, managing physical design and low-power design automation for ARM Cortex A-series processors and mobile phone SoCs. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from National Cheng Kung University.
