Claudio da Silva

Claudio da Silva is a Principal Engineer at MediaTek, where they focus on the standardization and certification of wireless connectivity technologies. They serve as the Technical Editor for IEEE 802.11bf (WLAN Sensing) and work with a dedicated team in IEEE 802.11 and the Wi-Fi Alliance. Prior to MediaTek, Claudio worked at Meta Platforms and Intel Corporation, leading technology and product innovation through standardization and certification efforts. Earlier in their career, they contributed to cellular modem implementation at Samsung and served as an Assistant Professor at Virginia Tech. Claudio holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego, and has published extensively in their field.
